Warm Wishes | Lawn Fawn

I'm part of a group that tries to design holiday cards on a monthly basis.  It's always hard for me to get in the festive mood when it isn't October - November.  This month I managed 6 of the same overall design:

It took me awhile to color the 24+ images.  I actually have a couple left over.  I used:

Perfectly Plaid 6x6
Winter Dragon
Winter Narwhal
Winter Unicorn
Winter Alpaca
Winter Owl
Winter Wavy Saying

I was inspired by the Lawn Fawnatics Card Sketch:

Hero Art + Reverse Confetti Collaboration Hop

Reverse Confetti is collaborating with Hero Arts!  We're super excited to be hopping with them with a super special stamp set:

Hero Arts is celebrating 45 years and counting. To honor our beloved industry, we have teamed up with some of our favorite friends, and have together released co-branded designs focused on friendship, giving, and community.

Born with creativity in her blood, Ellie, daughter of Reverse Confetti owner, Jen del Muro, designed this uplifting and versatile multi-step floral set for the Hero Arts Partner collaboration. Both have a passion for equality and equity, and proceeds from this stamp set will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign. We hope that this stamp set will inspire you to create beautiful cards for those that you care for and love.

We are giving away $50 gift cards to TWO lucky winners, drawn from comments left across the blog hop. One gift code will be to the Hero Arts store, and the other to Reverse Confetti. Comment on the hop by Thursday, February 25th at 11:59pm pst. The more blogs you leave comments on, the more chances to win!

Your should have arrived here from my teamie Jeanne's blog.  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the Hero Arts blog.

Here's how I was inspired:

I designed two cards with two completely different color palettes.  The first one I made is the Hello, My Dear Friend:

The Reverse Confetti inks I used:

Peach | Buttercup
Lime Green | Avocado
Iced Aqua

I love how this one turned out.  The sentiment was stamped in Stone.  I wanted the blooms to be the star of the show.

While I was designing my first card, this second design came to me and I couldn't wait to dive into it:

I was inspired by a watermelon color palette:

Piggy Bank | Flamingo

Lime Green | Avocado

Cardstock:  Flamingo | Lime Green

Hero Arts White Embossing Powder

Keeping things real, the center melon isn't perfectly stamped.  I decided that it reminded me of true watermelons, how they aren't always perfect.  It goes along with that beautiful sentiment.

I can't wait to hop around and see how everyone else was inspired!  Next up is my teamie Candice's blog.  In case you get lost along the way, here's the entire listing:

Hero Arts
Reverse Confetti
Kathy Schweinfurth
Lisa Henke
Jeanne Jachna
Amy Tsuruta
Candice Fisher
Tricia Barber
Amy Kolling
Audrey Tokach
Channin Pelletier
Daniel West
Ilina Crouse
Jessica Frost-Ballas
Libby Hickson
Lydia Fiedler

Latte Warm Wishes | ETC Papers

ETC Papers send me some of their EVO Synthetic paper to play with.  Here's how I was inspired:

This was perfect as I had all the alcohol ink supplies and just never played around with them.  The EVO Paper is perfect for it.  I did a smaller piece and used it as a background to my card.  The ink that I used from the Alcohol Pearls collection:

Enchanted
Alchemy
Sublime

I teamed it up with the Honey Bee Stamps Latte stamps + coordinating dies.  The cardstock is Reverse Confetti Lime Green.

I have several other ideas brewing.  Make sure you check out ETC Papers:

I Like Naps & You | Taylored Expressions

A couple of weeks ago I picked up the Taylored Expressions Little Critters Mini Slim Bundle.  The bundle is no longer available but the pieces are sold separately.

You might not be able to tell, but the peach cardstock was also stamped with the Taylored Expressions Gingham Check Background.  The contrast in the Crisp Cantaloupe [stampin' up] with the Shea Butter [Catherine Pooler] is quite lovely.

Do you own any of the Taylored Expressions sentiment strips?  Totally genius how you can stamp them all out at once and use their die to cut them all out at the same time.

I'm doing a bit of a giveaway over on my IG acct for the Fun & Funny Mini Strips.  Taylored Expressions accidently packed an additional set and I have their okay to do a giveaway.

The snow it blowing sideways here, how is the weather where you live?

Happy Lunar New Year | Catherine Pooler Designs

Hello and Happy Lunar New Year!  I picked up some things from Ellen Hutson yesterday including this cute Catherine Pooler Designs - Hey There Dumpling set.  I couldn't wait to ink it up and combined it with the new Daily Grind paper collection.

The dumpling stamp kills me.  I inked up a couple of them, enough to squeeze in two cards.  The ink colors:

Do-Si-Do
Party Dress
In The Park
Mardi Gras
All That Jazz
Midnight

I did some after dinner crafting when I made these last night.  They are 3.5 x 5.0 inches in size.  I knew that I was going to have to use the light box, which I always struggle with.  When I spend too much time with the photog, I just remove the background in PicMonkey.

What are some of your favorite CP ink colors?  Lately I'm loving Do-Si-Do and In the Park!
