oh, happy day | SugarPea Designs

Hello and Happy Sunday!  As I type this up on Saturday morning, not quite 8 am and I'm on my 4th cup of coffee.  Today I'm featuring SugarPea Designs - Parisian Holiday.

This set is so fun, love all the images in it.  I teamed it up with the Coffee To Go Cup - Sugarcut.  The main cup panel is white but I did back it with a stone panel to bring it out a smidge.

I love the glittery ParisScape.  The Postage Stamp SugarCut is wonderful.  I used it on the white center panel but also managed to use it as a coordinating border cut on the Stone cardstock panel.

So I may have taken the Mix It Up Challenge a bit literal:

That color palette makes me a happy crafter!

You | SugarPea Designs

Hmmm...I promise I do design things other than caffeinated projects:

I combined SugarPea Designs Mugs & Kisses with Knit Wit.  ...Coffee + Knitting.

I was inspired by the photo over on the SugarPea Designs January Mix It Up Challenge:

I also incorporated the CAS(E) this sketch challenge:

Cozy Wishes | SugarPea Designs

Happy Wednesday!  Amy Kolling inspired this card:

My girl has taken up knitting this year and has really created some gorgeous projects.  I'm thrilled that she's taken it up so quickly...scarves, hats, socks, sweaters...oh my.

I used the Knitwit stamps + SugarCuts.  The scalloped panel is from the Card Front Element Builder.  I used basic circle dies to create that quad window.  Love the Spots & Stripes Pastels Patterned Paper Collection.

That center panel has been cut from watercolor paper.  I mixed Faded Jeans +  Shaded Lilac.

There's a smide of Catherine Pooler Juniper Mist.  I topped it off with the (sadly retired) Hero Gold Ink Spray Metallic Shimmer.

SugarPea Designs News

Hello!  Today I'm up on the SugarPea Designs blog.  Did you see the newest Mix It Up Challenge?

I combined the sketch and the photo inspiration:

I'm in a Parisian state of mind!  Love the Parisian Holiday set.  That girl and her sweet beret are super cute!  I teamed her up with the ParisScape.

Everything is nestled onto a Postage Stamp panel.  I thought rather than just using one color for the background panel, I used two from the Spots & Stripes Brights Patterned Paper Collection.

This is the week of Design Team News.  In case you missed it, I had another announcement HERE.  Like I mentioned in my earlier post, I consider myself super fortunate to be on some FABulous teams.  My plate has been full for a while and I need to change things up to strike a better balance in my life.  I've sadly stepped down from the SugarPea Designs blog.

I wanted to thank Wendy for this super opportunity.  I've truly enjoyed my time on the team and will miss my teamies!

I did want to share some of my favorite DT Projects:

Thanks soooo much for stopping by and I hope that you'll visit me on the SugarPea Designs blog!

SugarPea Designs: bonjour

Have you played along with the newest SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge?

Here's how I was inspired, I used the sketch and the color pink:

I combined the new Oh La La set with the Mugs & Kisses set.  Aren't they fun together?

I LOVE that bonjour word bubble, so sweet!  The Spots & Stripes Pastels panel is a fun way to add color to my overall design.  I like the kraft and pink combo.

I could really go for a croissant and latte right now!  In case you haven't read about it, the 2018 Spring | Summer Coffee Lovers blog hop starts on Friday.  SugarPea Designs is just one of the fantastic Super Sponsors.

SugarPea Designs: Sending Birthday Wishes

Hello!  I'm up on the SugarPea Designs blog today playing along with the Mix It Up Challenge:

I'm simply smitten with the color palette in this month's challenge.  I used that as my inspiration for my project:

I've already given this project to my dear friend Laura that recently celebrated her birthday.  The grey cardbase is actually a gift card holder from an area shop.  It was a great base for the tag that I made using the new SugarCut - Postage Stamp.  The base is cut from peach craft foam. The polka panel is from the Spots & Stripes Pastels Patterned Paper Collection.

Oh my goodness, that girl from Parisian Holiday kills me every time.  Look how cute she is with her puppy!  The die cut 'Sending' is part of the SugarCut - Postage Stamp.

Make sure you pop over to the SugarPea Designs blog to see how some of my other teamies were inspired!

SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #37 : Celebrate You

Have you played along with the Mix it Up Challenge over at SugarPea Designs?!  Play with the sketch or the inspiration photo, or a bit of both!  You have all month to play along with us!   One randomly selected winner will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs store. However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp the prize goes up to $50!

Here's how I was inspired by this month's challenge.  This month I focused on the sketch:

I'm going to squirrel this one away for my brother's December birthday.   Don't you love the font on the sentiment?  It is the SugarPea Designs HB2U stamp set.  I did a bit of masking.  The sketch called out for me to add the celebrate + you SugarCuts, don't you agree?
