My project consists of:

Perk Up
Rainbow Wishes
Card Front Spinner Thin Cuts
Prickly Pear 12x12 [retired]

Here's a photo of both the card front and the interior panel:

The spinner wheel has been stamped with six different words:

I adore the color palette  of the Prickly Pear papers, don't you?

Both the base panel and the card front window panel have been backed in 110 lb white cardstock.  It makes the overall design sturdy.

Make sure you check out Chris Franco's site.  Here are direct links to the CTMH products I used for my project today:

So if you've been following me for a while, you know that I love the softer pastel color palettes.  I've started to team them up with a vivid color.  I managed to combine the following sets:

Pumpkin Latte
Fall-ing for You
Sunflower Days
Caffeinated Cats
Frames & Flags Die
Mugs Stencil

Perhaps at the first glance you might not spot the caffeinated design.  Love that Mugs Stencil.  I love the look of a semi tone-on-tone.  The girl from Fall-ing for You to carrying a latte too.

Here are the Copics I used:

R00 | R20
E93 | E95 | YR02

Pumpkin Spice Everything | Miss Ink Stamps

I'm excited to be back for the Miss Ink Stamps' September Release.  The new sets are now in their shop!  My card today features their new :

Pumpkin Spice Latte
Pumpkin Spice

Here's how I was inspired:

I used the main image from the Pumpkin Spice Latte set.  I colored it with bright and muted copic color combos.  I was originally going to team it up with pattern paper that I have in my stash that has pink and aqua but it was a bit much.  I decided to dry emboss that white panel with the oval with a cable print, the perfect element for a cozy card.

Don't you love that big sentiment?!  It's from the Pumpkin Spice set.  You're going to love this one.  It is PACKED with sentiments.  I love it!

I thought I'd share my earlier cards from THIS post.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  A big THANK YOU to Miss Ink Stamps for the Guest Designer Invite!!!!!

The Gray Muse | Summer 2020 Stamp Collection Hop!

I'm super excited to be joining The Gray Muse Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the fabulous Natasha Vacca's blog.  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning which is The Gray Muse Blog.

The Gray Muse is giving away FIVE $25 Gift Codes, leave comments as you hop along.  The more comments you leave, the more of a chance for you to win!  The commenting closes on Wednesday, September 30th and the winners will be announced on The Gray Muse Blog.

Here we go!  I've designed two cards especially for today's hop!

Let's chat about the Friend card first.  If you've been following for any amount of time, you know that I generally work with copics.  I gravitate to the pale pastels.  I stretch my creativity and used colored pencils for this project.

The draw for me about colored pencils is working with colored cardstock.  I stamped and heat embossed the Friend stamp onto a pebble colored cardstock.

Whew, I tell you, colored pencils is a workout.  I just used a Prismacolor set.  You can't really tell but my pebble panel has been mounted onto a leaf panel.

I really love how the blue in Friend really pops.

Here's my other card that uses the same Pebble cardstock but this time I used copics.

I teamed up the Simple Blooms Stamp Set with the Social Distance Stamp Set.  This is clean and simple and really makes those gorgeous blooms the start of the show.  LOVE that sentiment!

Next up is the awesome Carly Tee Minner!

Greetings from Seattle | Inspired by Challenge - Colors of Fall

Welcome to another new Inspired by Challenge!  There is also an optional sketch challenge:

Here's how I was inspired:

I took four of the five colors in the inspiration photo and designed them in a loose interpretation of the sketch.  My base is Reverse Confetti Stone and then the strips of cardstock from left to right are:

Stampin' Up:
Petal Pink
Blushing Bride
Soft Sea Foam
Pistachio Pudding [retired]

The Seattle Skyline die is by Impress.  It has been cut from Reverse Confetti Stone.

The sentiment is vintage A Muse woodmount.  With the skyline die being solid, I needed to stamp the sentiment onto that die cut after I ran it through the Gemini Jr.  That's when the trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig came in handy to line up the sentiment.  I'll be honest, I tend to eyeball a lot but I just can't eyeball woodmounts.

I can't wait to see how my other teamies were inspired, please check out the Inspired by Challenge Blog!

Autumn Afternoon Release Blog Hop | Honey Bee Stamps

I'm super excited to be a part of the Honey Bee Stamps Autumn Afternoon New Release blog hop!  If you've hopped here from the awesome Leanne West's blog, you're right on track.  If not, you'll want to start with the Honey Bee Stamps blog so that you don't miss out on any of the fun.  There's a $25 Honey Bee Stamps Gift Card as a giveaway.  You hop and comment along the way!

I had so much fun with the caffeinated products from this release.  Let's get started on my first project that features:

Coffee Stamp Set
Coffee Honey Cuts
Coffee Bean Background Stamp

I went with an aqua and coffee color duo.  The Coffee Bean Background has been heat embossed in white on an aqua panel.  I layered the Coffee Honey Cuts in the same color palette.

The sentiment from the Coffee stamp set has been stamped in an aqua ink.

My next card is a slimline using the same color palette as my first design but this time using these products:

Latte Stamp Set
Latte Honey Cuts
Treat Yo Self Stamp Set
Treat Yo Self Honey Cuts
Coffee Bean Background Stamp

Although you can't see much of the Coffee Bean Background on the Coffee colored Cardstock, you see enough to add a bit of interest, rather than just the solid cardstock.  The edges of the ovals have been distressed in the same dark brown ink that the Coffee Bean Background was stamped in.

The To Go cups from Treat Yo Self have been stamped in black.  I've paper pieced aqua sleeves for each cup.

Love the sentiment which is a combo from the Latte Stamp Set and coordinating Honey Cuts.

Okay guys, I did it!  I used the House Builder Card Base Honey Cuts with the Coffee Shop House Builder Add-On Honey Cuts.  It was so fun deciding colors and elements:

I decided on Kraft, Green and pops of Pink!  Can you see 'inside' the shop?  I used a panel from the Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Traditions 6x6. It is a wood grain.  I was going to make the coffee counter solid but liked the cleaner look of a floating shelf.  Hey, I've been watching a ton of HGTV while on my daily dreadmill workout!

I folded a piece of cardstock in half and used the house base honey cut to create a folding card.  All the stamped images are from the Coffee Shop House Builder Add-On Stamp set.

Here are the copics I used:
R00 | R30
YG01 | YG03
YG09 | G07
E41 | E42
E31 | E55

Here's the interior of the card.  I used the Coffee Stamp Set and the coordinating Honey Cuts for the sentiment.  You have a better peek at the woodgrain paper that was also used in the window on the exterior of the card.

I can't wait to hop around today and see how everyone was inspired.  Next up is Carol Hintermeier!
